Arrows to Aerospace - August 17-19, 2017

An Official Event of the Nebraska Sesquicentennial!

 

For the past 27 years, the Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis has been proud to sponsor Arrows to Aerospace, Bellevue's premier community celebration. This year, the event has several new features like Native American activities, K-9 demos, FREE pony rides, and stick horse races. Returning features include a parade, pancake feed, bounce houses, crafts for children, entertainment, food, and fun in Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue. The club also sponsors a luncheon, music program, and bingo at the Senior Center on Friday.

The Saturday events are listed below. All take place in Washington Park near downtown Bellevue unless noted otherwise. See the printable 2017 schedule of events for all three days.

Olde Towne Grand Parade (Mission Ave. to the Park) 10 am
Downhill Mile (St. Mary's School/Mission Ave.) 8 am
Pancake Breakfast with the Pancake Man ($6 for adults; $4 for children 10 and under) 8-11:30 am

Great Sarpy County Quilt Exhibit (at Sarpy County Museum) 10 am-4 pm

TWILIGHT CRITERIUM

The Bellevue Bicycle Club and Midwest Cycling Community will not be holding the Twilight Criterium this year. We hope that they will return in 2018 for the fifth Arrows to Aerospace Twilight Criterium.

PARADE AT 10:00 AM ON SATURDAY

The parade is on Saturday, August 19, 2017. It runs from the corner of Bert Murphy and Mission Avenue to Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue (see a map of the parade route). Please print and complete the 2017 parade entry form or use this Word document to fill in the blanks on the computer. Entry forms must be received by mail or email by August 14.
