Membership in the Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis Club is by invitation. New members are sponsored into the club by an active member. Once approved for membership by the board, a new member is:

  • Inducted in a simple and dignified ceremony.
  • Presented a Kiwanis pin and membership certificate by the club president.
  • Welcomed into the club by the membership.

Membership dues are nominal. There is a $25.00 induction fee. The $35.00 monthly dues support administrative and operating expenses of the club, cover the cost of lunches, and provide a Kiwanis Magazine subscription.

In a spirit of fun and fellowship, members can be fined for various infractions such as: having their name or picture appear in the newspaper, not shaking hands with the mystery greeter, or not wearing a Kiwanis pin. Fines are all in good fun and usually cost a quarter.

Regular club meetings are held every Friday at 12:00 noon and include lunch, a short business meeting, and a guest speaker. Adjournment comes promptly at 1:00 pm. The Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis Club meets at:

Bellevue Medical Center
2500 Bellevue Medical Center Dr.
