For the past 27 years, the Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis has been proud to sponsor Arrows to Aerospace, Bellevue's premier community celebration. This year, the event has several new features like a carnival, Native American activities, K-9 demos, a petting zoo, and stick horse Calcutta. Returning features include a parade, pancake feed, bounce houses, crafts for children, entertainment, food, and fun in Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue. The club also sponsors a luncheon, music program, and bingo at the Senior Center on Friday.
See the 2016 schedule of events.
Some of the Saturday events are:
Pancake feed - $6 for adults; $4 for children (10 and under)
Bike Give-Away - free entry; must be present to win at 3pm
Bounce House - free!
Music in the Park (PAC Band and Tangiers Shrine Chanters) - free!
The Bellevue Bicycle Club and Midwest Cycling Community will not be holding the Twilight Criterium this year. We hope that they will return in 2018 for the fifth Arrows to Aerospace Twilight Criterium.
The parade is on Saturday, August 19, 2017. It runs from the corner of Bert Murphy and Mission Avenue to Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue (see a map of the parade route). Please print and complete the 2017 parade entry form or use this Word document to fill in the blanks on the computer. Entry forms must be received by mail or email by August 14.
If you have questions about the parade, contact Karen Mier at 402-990-1295 or via email.
The parade is usually aired on Bellevue TV on Cox cable channel 17 within a week of the event.
