Membership Information
MEMBERSHIP
The Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis Club welcomes all newcomers whether you've been invited by a current member or just heard about us and want to know more. Once approved for membership by the board, a new member is:
DUES AND FEES
- Inducted in a simple and dignified ceremony.
- Presented a Kiwanis pin and membership certificate by the club president.
- Welcomed into the club by the membership.
Membership dues are nominal. The $12.00 monthly dues support administrative and operating expenses of the club, cover the cost of lunches, and provide a Kiwanis Magazine subscription.
FUN TIME
In a spirit of fun and fellowship, members can be fined for various infractions such as: having their name or picture appear in the newspaper, not shaking hands with the mystery greeter, or not wearing a Kiwanis pin. Fines are all in good fun and usually cost a quarter. Happy Bucks are a great way to share good things going on in your life, as well.
